Shigaraki pottery painting experience & Hikone castle & Nagahama up to 8 guests (Shiga-01)

 

Shigaraki town in Shiga prefecture is famous for its pottery. Main character is raccoon dog (Tanuki). More than 10,000 Tanuki potteries are produced in the Kilns every year. In this tour you can experience the painting of the pottery. You can take your own pottery on the same day. Also, we visit one of the national treasure castles Hikone castle, and popular shopping street Nagahama Black Wall square in Shiga prefecture. Supposedly this tour start/terminate at Nagoya which is about 10-hour one day trip. Enjoy the experience and sightseeing in local town in Japan.

We provide private vehicle with a driver and a guide.

This is for families or small groups. The maximum of pax is 8(Toyota Hiace use). One guide and one driver are with you in a same car. Duration of tour is about 8 hours. Since this is a private car hiring, departure time and place can be flexible. Departure place is supposed the center of Nagoya city.

08:00               Meet with a guide at your hotel or Nagoya station
09:30-11:00    Hikone castle (National treasure)
12:30-13:15      Lunch at Shigaraki town (Sukiyaki)
13:30-14:30     Painting on pottery experience
16:00-17:00     Nagahama shopping arcade
18:30                 Back to your hotel or Nagoya station

Price of this tour
-Basic price for one group: 166,000 yen per/group including a car, driver, English-speaking guide, fuel, highway tolls, parking fees, and tax.
-Additional price for individual: 4,300 yen per/person including lunch, painting experiences, entrance fee for Hikone castle.
[For example, if your group is 6 adults/ the total price is 166,000+(4,300x6)=191,800 Japanese yen]
Car and guide service start/terminate at your hotel or Nagoya station.
